Fuel prices decreased overnight in PEI. The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved a decrease of 4.0 cents per litre in the price of gasoline. The price of furnace oil decreased by 3.0 cents per litre, and the price of diesel went down overnight by 3.0 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from 161.0 to 162.2 cents per litre. Diesel costs between 154.1 and 155.3 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 98.6 cents per litre. Propane prices decreased by between 0.5 to 1.8 cents per litre, and now range from 78.5 to 81.0 cents per litre.
