UPEI to confer four honorary degrees during convocation

UPEI will hold Convocation during four ceremonies from May 16 to 19 as more than 1,100 graduates comprise the Class of 2023.  Convocation ceremonies will be held in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre on the UPEI campus and during each of the four ceremonies, honorary degrees will be conferred.  The recipients of honorary degrees this year include PEI’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Heather Morrison; entrepreneur, philanthropist and volunteer John Horrelt; internationally renowned scientist and ornithologist Dr. Kathy Martin; and public health specialist physician Dr. Gaynor Watson-Creed.
