District 3, Montague-Kilmuir MLA Cory Deagle has announced his intention to seek the PC nomination once again in the next provincial election. He currently serves as PEI’s Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure.
Deagle was first elected in 2019 and has also served as Government Whip and Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability.
Deagle says he has worked hard over the past four years to make sure the district is well represented in the King government. He says he has advocated for a long term replacement of Kings County Memorial Hospital, upgrades for Montague Consolidated School, more support for seniors, local road upgrades and was successful in passing a private member’s bill to combat young people vaping.
