There is a new name for Women’s Wellness and Sexual Health Services in PEI.
It’s now called Sexual Health, Options and Reproductive Services or SHORS.
The new name for the program was made in consultation with the PEERS Alliance.
Andrew MacDougall, Health PEI’s Executive Director for Community Health & Seniors Care says the name more accurately reflects the population it serves in a more inclusive manner.
