Elections PEI is reporting that voter turnout was down in Monday’s municipal elections. Charlottetown had a turnout of 10,911 voters or 47.% of eligible voters casting a ballot. That’s compared 58% voting in 2018. Cornwall reports voter turnout of 33% of eligible voters casting a ballot compared to 49% voting in 2018. Stratford saw 3,091 voters at the polls or 46.21% of eligible voters casting a ballot compared to 50% voting in 2018. Summerside saw 51% of eligible voters casting a ballot compared to 59% in 2018. Three Rivers had 36% of eligible voters casting a ballot.
