PEI fishers say they’re seeing more sharks in Island waters.
Dalhousie University’s researchers at the Ocean Tracking Network also say the number of shark sightings are increasing across the Maritimes.
The head of the research network says it’s not clear if the higher number of shark sightings is due to a growing population, changing ocean conditions or climate change.
Earlier this month a shark was spotted in Cable Head West.
