Wendi James Poirier has announced that she’s seeking the Charlottetown Council seat for Ward 2 in the fall municipal elections.
James Poirier is a public servant and senior advisor on accessibility. She says she has experience working at Charlottetown City Hall, and learned first hand about City policies, programs and bylaws.
She says she has also worked as a coordinator on homelessness, as an executive director and fundraiser with community-based organizations and with the Province of PEI on affordable housing.
James Poirier says her primary concerns are fiscal responsibility and accountability, safety, food security and affordable housing.
