Tipi erected on UPEI campus to represent UPEI’s journey to reconciliation

The UPEI campus is now home to a temporary Indigenous tipi that has been erected between the Kelley Memorial Building and the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.  Dr. Gary Evans, interim dean of the new Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies says that with the creation of the Faculty, a tipi was chosen to represent UPEI’s journey of reconciliation.
