P-E-I will launch its publicly-funded shingles vaccine program next week.
Islanders aged 65 and over will be able to book their free Shingrix vaccine at community pharmacies as of Monday.
Health Minister Ernie Hudson says the new program will help Island seniors avoid the pain and suffering of shingles.
The province will receive approximately 38-hundred doses of the vaccine per month between now and March 2023.
