Premier Dennis King is offering his condolences to the family of Gordon Lank, former MLA and cabinet minister from the late 1970’s into the 1980s who has passed away at age 80.
Lank was first elected as an MLA for 2nd Queens in 1979 in the Angus MacLean government and was re-elected in 1982 and served as Minister of Community and Cultural Affairs, Minister of Finance and Tourism in the Jim Lee government.
Lank, a farmer himself, was a passionate advocate for Island farmers.
