The City of Charlottetown’s community pools open for the summer, Saturday. The Victoria Park pool and splash pad will operate 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 7.45 p.m. Admission to the Victoria Park pool is free.
The Simmons Pool will be open 7 days a week from 1.00 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. daily. Admission is also free at Simmons.
There will be some restrictions due to the pandemic. The Victoria Park pool will be limited to 35 people per swim and it will be 45 minutes at the Simmons Pool. There will be a time limit but you can sign up for the next available swim. There will also be separate entrances and exits. Signs will be posted. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Change rooms will not be available. Swimmers should shower at home and come to the pool with their bathing suit on. Social distancing and proper etiquette should be followed. City staff will monitor the facilities.
