Charlottetown fire and police responded to a fire at Superior Sanitation late Friday afternoon. Three trucks on the property were on fire. The call came in at 4.30 and was quickly contained and under control by 6.30.
It’s not known how many trucks were lost.
Charlottetown Fire Inspector Kent Mitchell says firefighters had occupants in the building move their vehicles out of the way so there would not be any further damage.
There was no immediate danger to anyone. An investigation into the cause will begin soon.
