All five students that represented PEI at the 58th Canada Wide Science Fair were awarded with national medals this week.
About 500 student finalists presented their projects at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.
Abby Chapman, a grade 10 student at Charlottetown Rural won a bronze medal.
Christianne Riveroll, a grade 9 student at Grace Christian won a bronze.
Joe Moak and Davis Nicholson, grade 8 students at Gulf Shore Consolidated received silver medals.
Jannah McCallum, a grade 7 student at Queen Charlotte Intermediate also won silver.
All five students have been award Entrance Scholarships to Western University in London, Ontario.
