Charlottetown is officially home to the latest chapter of the Hell’s Angels.
A major welcome party in Woodbridge, Ontario over the weekend elevated PEI’s capital city club to full patch status, making it the 44th charter of the Hell’s Angels Motorcycle Club in Canada and 2nd in the Maritimes.
Six Island bikers were given the distinctive winged skulls patches at Saturday’s party after being voted into the international club which spans 58 countries.

The Woodbridge, Ontario Hell’s Angels sponsored the Charlottetown bikers for about the last two years, giving them the status of being a “hangaround” club, based at 205 Fitzroy Street in a building that was once a skate sharpening business and coin laundry.
Members then graduated to being “prospects” of the Hell’s Angels and now a half dozen Island bikers are full fledged members.
