First responders have worked through the night at the scene of a deadly bus crash in Ottawa.
A double-decker city vehicle crashed into a bus shelter, killing three people and injuring 23 more, including 14 in critical condition.
Two people died on the bus and the third was a person standing on the platform.
No word if any Islanders were among the passengers.
One eye witness says the bus hit a patch of ice before crashing.
Officials say the bus hopped a curb and hit the transit shelter just as afternoon rush hour began yesterday.
Dozens of ambulances and fire trucks along with police were on the scene.
The bus driver has been questioned but there is no word on what might have happened.
