The 2018 numbers are out, and they show that for the third straight year the Charlottetown Airport saw an increase in passengers.
It was a slight increase as more than 370-thousand passenger traveled through the airport in 2018. Over the past five years, traffic has increased by 25%.
CEO Doug Newson says the increase in passengers came despite a drop in overall seat capacity and an early start to winter.
2018 was an historic year for the Charlottetown Airport with those record passenger numbers and the $18-million project to rehabilitate the main runway.
