Former MLA Peter Doucette, of Montague, has passed away at the age of 64.
Peter was first elected in 1989 for the riding of 3rd Kings. He was re-elected in 1993. Peter was appointed government Whip and served on several legislative committees.
A Funeral Mass will take place Saturday in Montague.
