A six-month jail sentence was handed down Monday for a Stratford man who pleaded guilty to sexual assault.
32-year old Gregory William Lunn entered his plea in PEI Supreme Court before a trial was to start.
The court heard that early one morning last August, Lunn went to the home of a woman he knew, and initiated sexual intercourse while she was sleeping. She woke up, and they argued with her telling him to stop and leave, and he did.
