The RCMP says officers from its Serious and Organized Crime Unit in Charlottetown were in Edmundston court this week to lay drug trafficking charges against three men — two from Quebec, and one from New Brunswick.
The charges stem from a vehicle stop done near Edmundston by PEI RCMP in January of 2018. A search of the vehicle saw police seize over 11-thousand methamphetamine pills, and a small quantity of cocaine.
It’s believed those methamphetamine pills were packaged to be sold in PEI and New Brunswick.
