The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has approved a cut in gas prices.
At 12:01 am Thursday, gasoline prices decreased by 2 cents per litre. It means pump prices for regular self-serve now range from $1.01 to $1.03 per litre.
Furnace and stove oil prices went down by 2 cents per litre.
Diesel prices decreased by 2 cents per litre.
There’s no change in propane prices.
