The national inflation rate rose to 1.7 per cent in November, which was slightly less than economists had expected.
November’s reading was the weakest year-over-year increase since January and far cooler than October’s reading of 2.4 per cent. Lower gas prices are getting some of the credit for the pace of inflation slowing last month.
