Wildlife officials say the preliminary findings of a necropsy on that large sea turtle that washed up in the Argyle Shore area last week show no evidence of trauma.
The necropsy at the Atlantic Veterinary College also showed the turtle was not entangled in fishing gear and did not die from eating plastic.
Testing will continue to see if the endangered animal had a bacterial infection.
