Federal Agriculture and Agri-Food Minister Lawrence MacAulay says last weeks Fall Economic Statement has a number of tax and economic initiatives for Canadians.
The Hon. Minister and Cardigan MP says government is listening to farmers and food processors, with more deductions now available for such things as costly farming equipment.
MacAulay says $25 million earmarked to deal with trade barriers in other countries will also be good for export initiatives.
The Minister also claims tax changes for the middle class will mean more money in the pockets of families, as a result of tax cuts and the Canada Child Benefit.
