A wet, heavy snow blanketed the Island overnight into Wednesday.
All Public Schools Branch school and French Language Board schools will operate Wednesday on a one hour delay with no further announcement.
Ploughs are out across PEI, and have been since about 3:00am Wednesday. They’re working the main roads and side roads.
Because the snow is so wet and heavy, drive carefully as areas of slushy snow can take control of your wheels if you’re not careful. It’s also packing into a layer of ice in spots.
The snow is so heavy it’s plugging some of the blowers being used by the snow removal crews.
