The PEI Humane Society continues to look into an incident in Stratford regarding two dogs that bit another dog in a neighbouring duplex.
Stratford RCMP investigated the incident on October 25th.
The owner of the two dogs was issued a dangerous dog declaration under the Stratford Animal Control Bylaw which states an owner must comply with all PEI requirements such has having dogs muzzled off property, the insurance liability policy and other conditions including having a Stratford dog licence.
The Humane Society says it has not be able to verify all conditions were met at this time.
The Humane Society is working with the Town of Stratford and the RCMP regarding legal procedures
