A provincial court judge has acquitted a former high school music teacher charged with sexual assault allegedly involving a former student.
Roger Jabbour appeared before Chief Judge Nancy Orr in Charlottetown provincial court Friday where she delivered her decision on two charges involving allegations of sexual touching and invitation to sexual touching.
Orr says she found the complainant to be an honest and credible witness, but that her testimony wasn’t sufficiently reliable. The judge says she was left with a reasonable doubt about what happened and had to acquit Jabbour.
