Today marks “Orange Shirt Day” where you are asked to wear orange to signify that “every child matters.”
Wearing orange commemorates the residential school experience and continues the healing process for survivors and their families.
It’s also to display a commitment to continued reconciliation.
RCMP employees on PEI are among those wearing orange shirts today.
