One of Charlottetown’s best known amateur athletes, coach and game official has passed away at age 86.
Clee Gillis dies on Friday at Beach Grove Home in the city.
He was an outstanding senior baseball player and later an umpire.
He also coached in hockey. Among his players was Rick Vaive in Bantam.

Funeral mass at 10.00 on Monday morning at St. Dunstan’s Basilica.
