All that frost we saw in June appears to have had an impact on PEI’s wild blueberry crop.
The PEI Wild Blueberry Growers Association says it looks like the yield will be down from recent years.
The frost events in early June timed with a full bloom stage in several fields across PEI, and that combination can be devastating to fruit bud development.
