The Mi’kmaq of Prince Edward Island are appealing the Supreme Court of PEI decision in relation to the Mill River Judicial Review Application.
In June, a PEI Supreme Court Judge dismissed the legal challenge by the Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI, which argued that in its sale of the Mill River Resort, the province did not meet legal requirements to consult First Nations on the sale of crown land.
