A new survey by MQO Research shows that along with New Brunswick, PEI has the highest level of satisfaction in the region with health care.
The survey showed that nearly six-in-ten residents are either very or somewhat satisfied with the health care system in PEI.
Broken down further into the different aspects of health care, the survey shows that 72 percent are satisfied with access to home care; 63 percent are satisfied with access to a family doctor; 59 percent are satisfied with access to an emergency room; 55 percent are satisfied with access to long-term care, and 49 percent are satisfied with access to a specialist.
