Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says his government is not planning to take another look at the controversial long-gun registry in the wake of Friday’s deadly shooting in Fredericton. While here in PEI Monday, the P-M told reporters that there were plenty of discussions on what next steps might be taken. Trudeau says his government has already moved forward with “common-sense gun legislation” that will deepen background checks and impose reasonable limits on the transport of weapons.
