Police have identified the three victims of this week’s crash in Maine of a small plane headed to PEI as a philanthropic Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario couple and their 24-year-old daughter.
Fifty-eight-year-old Joseph Robertson, his 58-year-old wife Anita and their daughter Laura Robertson died when the plane crashed into a field. The family is prominent in St. Catharines, Ontario, where they made major financial contributions to a performing arts centre, and were active in the United Way.
