An international bioscience company called Sekisui Diagnostics is receiving $600-thousand from the province in an expansion.
It’s part of a $1.2 million expansion in Charlottetown that will help create more biotech jobs.
The company produces invitro test kits for blood and tissue testing.
Premier Wade MacLauchlan says the provincial government is pleased to have been able to support the company’s growth and expansion.
The Japanese based company will see an investment of $400-thousand for the expansion of the plant in West Royalty and a $200-thousand non-repayable funding for the company’s new operations
