A first mayoral candidate has come forward in Stratford.
Two-term town Councillor Steve Ogden is running for Mayor of Stratford in the upcoming November 5th municipal election.
Ogden has served the last 8 years as a Stratford Councillor for Ward 2, and before amalgamation had been a member of the Keppoch-Kinlock Community Council for several years.
Ogden says his main objective is to build a local, self-sustaining economy, and his focus will include increasing the number of affordable housing units and child day care spaces in Stratford.
Current Mayor David Dunphy has announced he won’t be re-offering.
