Nine people, including four children, have been left temporarily homeless by a fire early Wednesday afternoon that damaged a four-unit apartment building in Marshfield.
Fortunately, there were no injuries.
Disaster volunteers with the Red Cross have arranged a place to stay, along with food and clothing for a couple from one apartment; a couple and two children from a second unit; and a woman and her two children from a third apartment. The building owners use the fourth apartment but were away at the time.
