20 year old Chase Joseph Douglas Aslantogmus has been sentenced to 37 and a half months in federal prison after stabbing another man 14 times in 2017.
The stabbing occurred during a dispute in an apartment in Charlottetown over a pair of headphones.
The accused was in court on Friday for sentencing after previously pleading guilty.
He had a history of mental issues.
He was arrested in September, 2017 and was left with two years on his sentence to be served.
The victim spent a week in hospital with injuries that included a punctured lung and stab wound to his face.
