The province says it is making changes to its Liquor Control Act to reduce red tape.
The changes include simplifying the approval process for underage entertainers, a reduction to the package sales licence fee, and an extension to caterer’s licence eligibility.
Finance Minister Heath MacDonald says the amendments address outdated regulations and allow licensees more discretion over their own operations.
