The Nature Conservancy of Canada is launching a project to track wildlife crossing highways in New Brunswick, including the highway leading to Confederation Bridge.
The Conservancy says it’s a tech-assisted project and they are looking for some help. They need volunteers to become “citizen scientists” by taking photos and documenting wildlife using a mobile app called iNaturalist.
The long term goal with the project is to improve safety for both drivers and the wildlife.
