Statistics Canada says a drop in full-time employment was partially offset by an increase in part-time jobs.
Employment in PEI increased by 800 in May, while the unemployment rate fell by 1.9 percentage points to 9.3%. Compared with 12 months earlier, employment in the province was little changed.
