After monitoring coyote activity and talking with wildlife experts, Parks Canada says trails at Skmaqn-Port-la-Joye-Fort Amherst National Historic Site have been reopened.
The trails had been temporarily closed because of the presence of coyotes.
Coyotes are still present at the national historic site, so visitors are encouraged to report coyote sightings. They should also take precautions and keep safety in mind.
