Summerside Police say the third of four suspects wanted in connection with a robbery Sunday has been arrested.
Thirty-four year old Aaron Christopher Prichard was arrested late Sunday afternoon in Summerside.
He appeared in court Monday morning to answer to charges including robbery, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Prichard was remanded into custody.
The second suspect, 26 year old Congjie Tan of Summerside, appeared in court Sunday where he was charged with robbery. Tan was also remanded into custody. Police are still actively searching for the fourth and final suspect involved in the incident.
The robbery led to an incident in which a suspect died of injuries sustained when he was shot by police, as they say he used violence in resisting arrest. That matter is being investigated by the Nova Scotia Serious Incident Response Team.
