The inflation rate nationally and on PEI was 2.2 per cent in April.
That’s a slight decrease from March where it was 2.3 per cent.
Higher costs for gas, air transit and restaurants continued the upward pressure on inflation.
But prices for digital equipment, travel tours and natural gas all dropped.
