PC MLA Darlene Compton had some questions for Premier Wade MacLauchlan in the PEI legislature on Friday concerning the future of Northumberland Ferrries at Wood Islands and Caribou.
Compton says a task force has come up with some solid recommendations on things like winter crossings and how the carbon tax will affect costs.
MacLauchlan says if there is to be a year round ferry service at Wood Islands and Caribou it could benefit the whole province especially through exports.
