In the Legislature Friday, Opposition Leader James Aylward pressed government on why free public wifi isn’t fully available in all island hospitals.
He says it’s an important service for patients and their families, and nothing’s been done since Government promised the wifi two years ago.
Health Minister Robert Mitchell agrees its an importance service, and his department is talking with Foundations and other community groups on getting the wifi in place. He adds that they are working on the wifi issues at Prince County Hospital.
