Keith Getson sparked a four goal uprising in the third period as the Charlottetown Islanders won the opener of their Q first round playoff series, 6-2 in Quebec City.
Getson had three goals – two of them in the decisive third.
The Remparts and Islanders played it tight for the opening 40 minutes tied 1-1 in the 1st and 2-2 in the 2nd.
Sullivan Sparkes, Derek Gentile and Sam King had the other Charlottetown goals.

The first marathon of the post season occured on Saturday in the Q opening round.
A goal at 14.26 in the third overtime scored by Olivier Bourrel gave the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles a 5-4 victory over Drummondville which evened the series.
Halifax has a 2-0 lead dropping Baie-Comeau, 5-2.
Victoriaville is up 2-0 on Gatineau with a 3-2 win.

Chicoutimi blanked Acadie-Bathurst, 4-0.
