Charlottetown Rural High School will host Career Day on Wednesday of this week.
The day will feature individuals from careers in such areas as health and wellness, science and engineering, law, politics, education, culinary and hospitality, environmental sustainability, trades, business and information technology, sports, arts, and culture.
There will be over 95 presenters and 160 sessions for students to choose from.
Sharon Cameron will give the keynote address in the morning. Sharon is the Deputy Minister and Special Advisor of PEI’s Executive Council. She is a former principal and has taken on many roles working with children and youth in PEI. Sharon’s message will detail life planning and how to make effective life decisions.
Steve Collette will end the day with his motivational address. He is a former graduate of Charlottetown Rural High School and a successful entrepreneur throughout Atlantic Canada. He will inspire and challenge his audience to take control of their lives and walk away with the mental strength and determination to use his words in their daily life styles
