A 33 year-old Summerside woman has been given 4 months in jail for three theft-related charges, breaching probation and conditions of an undertaking.
Summerside Police say they were called to a Granville Street business last Friday afternoon after reports of a female shoplifter. A number of stolen items were recovered after she was taken into custody, some of which had been stolen earlier in the day from another Granville Street business.
As officers continued with their investigation at the second store, the woman actually returned to that business after being preciously released, and was arrested again for theft.
She pleaded guilty to all charges in court in Summerside on Monday.
