A Cornwall man has been charged under the Environmental Protection Act and the Pesticide Control Act regulations.
The charges stem from a fish kill on Hyde Creek on October 10, 2017. The fish kill was reported to the Cornwall and Area Watershed Group after locals found several dead trout.
PEI’s Conservation Officers investigated and the man was also given two warnings related to pesticide records-keeping and storage. The case will be before the courts in late March.
