Charlottetown Police have arrested two city men and seized a large quantity of opioid pills and some cocaine during an on-going investigation.
Both men are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and will be appearing in provincial court.
Meantime, a 26-year old man has been sentenced to 2 years less a day on several drug charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Lucas Gauthier of Charlottetown received the sentence in provincial court.
The charges stemmed form an drug investigation conducted by Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit.
